Flower Crown Workshop

A couple of weeks ago, I had the opportunity to host a small group of business women at my studio for a fun, springtime-inspired private flower crown workshop! It was my first time hosting in my studio but I am so happy with how everything turned out, and with the sweet ladies I got to teach!

The ladies arrived and mingled while sipping drinks and eating Mexican food then I did a demo of a flower crown, explaining the mechanics of how to build one. The ladies were all quick learners and I was so impressed by what they were able to create! Everyone got their own set of supplies, and bright blooms + greenery to choose from! We had pink + orange ranunculus, light blush + white spray roses, chamomile, wax flower, and italian ruscus. After we finished making our crowns, the ladies all got to pose together in front of the yellow backdrop for photos!

I loved getting to host these ladies + bond over flowers! If you have a team building event, birthday party, bridal or baby shower, or meeting coming up and would like to do a flower crown workshop with me, let me know here!

Huge thanks to Rachelle Foster Photography for documenting the fun!

Romantic, Autumnal Wedding: Haley + Luke

Wedding season will be in full swing in just a couple of days and while I’m so excited for all my lovely May + June brides, I’m spending my last free Saturday resting, getting some admin work done, and dreaming a little about fall.

When I think of fall weddings, I cannot help but go back to Haley + Luke’s wedding last October! Haley was such an easy-going and creative bride to work with…she’s an artist and for her wedding, she was inspired by fall. I loved the color palette we came up with, and the detailed way she incorporated those colors in her wedding details.

I think for brides, it’s very easy to get caught up in what other brides have done, especially on Pinterest. However, I think it’s such a great idea to find your wedding inspiration in your life, your love story, and like Haley, your favorite season. The result will be something that’s truly you + your significant other, rather than a copy of someone else’s big day!

Happy to share some gorgeous photos from Haley’s wedding! Enjoy!
